The BELVEDERE HOTEL FAMILY comprises three interconnected hotels in Scuol in the Lower Engadine: the Hotel Belvedere our Family and Wellness Hotel, the romantic Engadiner Boutique-Hotel GuardaVal and the Badehotel Belvair next to the baths. All three hotels are connected to one another via footbridges and are directly linked to the Engadin Bad Scuol.

All three hotels are centrally located in Scuol in the Lower Engadine, in the immediate vicinity of the Engadin Bad Scuol. You will find the addresses to enter into your sat-nav on the respective hotel page under ‘arrival’.

All hotels, restaurants, bars and wellness areas are interconnected. For stays of two nights or more on a half-board basis, you can choose freely from five restaurants within the hotel group as part of the ‘Dine Around’ scheme. Do also visit our Wine & Bar Lounge at the Hotel Belvedere or the Cheminee Bar at the Hotel Guardaval. At both the GuardaVal and the Belvedere, you can make use of our in-house wellness areas and book treatments at the SPA Vita Nova at the Hotel Belvedere.

Cancellations must be made in writing and are only valid once confirmed in writing by the hotel. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance (e.g. Europäische Reiseversicherung). Full details regarding cancellations can be found in our terms and conditions.

Only vouchers of any kind that have been registered in advance will be accepted.

In such cases, we reserve the right to inform you and, in exceptional circumstances, to withdraw from the contract.

From Zurich, you can reach Scuol in around 2,5 hours via Landquart, Klosters, Vereina and Scuol-Tarasp. If you wish, our porter will pick you up at the station. Please let us know your arrival time in advance.

There are plenty of parking spaces in the hotel’s underground car park (subject to a charge). You will receive your parking ticket at reception when you check in. Please drive right up to the front of the hotel to load or unload.

We are an official Tesla charging partner, with two Tesla charging points and a further charging point for other electric vehicles (subject to a charge; booking at reception is recommended).

With the SBB ‘Travel without Luggage’ service, your luggage is collected directly from your home and delivered to your hotel room.

The Hotel Belvedere has an indoor children’s play area with different zones for younger and older children. We offer childcare for children aged 3 and over in the children’s play area during the summer and winter high seasons, four days a week from 12.30 pm to 9.30 pm (free of charge). Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (CHF 25 per day, excluding food), with restricted access to public areas.

The visitor’s tax is CHF 5 per person per night (for those aged 12 and over). This includes the guest card. With the guest card, you can use public transport between Brail and Martina all year round (excluding S-charl) as well as the mountain railways in summer, and enjoy further discounts in the Engadin Scuol Samnaun Val Müstair region. Your dog can also travel for free with the guest card.

A voluntary climate contribution of CHF 1 per person per night in aid of myclimate, which helps to offset part of your stay to make it climate-neutral. Further information on this

The Hotel Belvedere and the Badehotel Belvair are largely barrier-free (public areas). Barrier-free rooms are available at both hotels – please contact our central reservations office on +41 81 861 06 20.

The Engadin Boutique Hotel is not barrier-free. The historic building does not have a lift and is therefore not recommended for guests with walking difficulties. In such cases, we recommend our Badehotel Belvair, located right next to the Engadin Bad Scuol.

Unlimited daily access from 8.00 am (children from 11.00 am) until 9.45 pm to the 13,000 m² swimming and sauna complex – accessible directly from all three hotels via footbridges.

Our Vita Nova Wellness is located in the Hotel Belvedere and features saunas, a steam bath, whirlpools and a relaxation room. You can book massage and beauty treatments at our Vita Nova SPA in the Hotel Belvedere. The ‘San tras aua’ wellness area is located in the Engadiner Boutique-Hotel GuardaVal and features a sauna, steam bath and relaxation room.

We are happy to book treatments included in wellness packages between 10.00 and 16.00, subject to availability; you will be given the exact times on arrival. During the winter season, the ski pass for the Motta Naluns-Ftan-Sent skiing and winter hiking area is included in the room rate from the first night’s stay onwards – and can also be used on the day of arrival and departure.
